BEHIND THE LENS
Hi, I’m Amanda- a Buffalo, NY native with a passion for capturing the beauty of this amazing planet we call home. My lifelong appreciation of nature and all things wild has led to a deep love of hiking & traveling both near and far. My adventures bring me to crisp mountaintops, into lush jungle wilderness, through otherworldly desert landscapes and into the salty ocean air. Armed with a camera in hand, I seek out the exquisiteness around me, freezing moments in time so that I have them to return to whenever I need an escape.
My interest in photography started when I was in high school, intensifying immensely as I taught myself through the years how to best capture the world around me. Stepping behind the lens, everything else falls away. I focus in on the details, patterns & uniqueness of the landscape to capture the amazing natural artwork of the earth. I have spent years exploring and creating these visual escapes to the most beautiful places and I’m beyond excited to share my work with you.
